Deputy Manager

A great opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Manager (x2) to join our popular Nurseries, with branches in Nottingham. Our nurseries have a lively setting with lots of creativity and have a team who are dedicated to the care of children. We are looking for individuals to provide a hands-on, fun, creative, and innovative environment for children.

The role will include the following main responsibilities (not exhaustive):

1) To deputise for the Manager in their absence.
2) Ensure high standards are followed and maintained by all of the staff when dealing with the children in our care.
3) Support the Manager in providing training and development for the staff.
4) Liaise with parents/carers and other family members.
5) Liaise with Local authorities and other professionals associated with the Nursery.
6) Be a role model to staff and show high-quality practice to parents on any issues as they arise.
7) Ensure all children are treated equally, fairly, and as individuals in planning activities in line with the Early Tears Framework

Potential candidates must have:
1) A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
2) Hold the relevant level 3 or higher Childcare qualification.
3) Provide references on request.

Full time, permanent role
Work Days: Monday – Friday
