Nursery Manager

A great opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Manager to join our popular Nurseries, with branches in Nottingham. Our nurseries have a lively setting with lots of creativity and have a team who are dedicated to the care of children. We are looking for individuals to provide a hands-on, fun, creative, and innovative environment for children.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

(1) The Manager will work closely with the Director whilst also being expected to work autonomously in relation to everyday management responsibilities.

(2) The role requires the confidence to make decisions considering the reputation and financial aspects of both businesses whilst balancing a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.

(3) To provide operational management of the nursery facilities and staff, to ensure high quality, balanced provision of leading practice education and care is delivered at all times.

(4) Responsible for company adherence to nurseries policies and procedures. Consistently meeting legislative requirements and following the education curriculum, delivering standards that ensure the highest possible inspection grading.

(5) Ensure that the training, support, mentoring and supervision of the staff team inspires and leads the ambitious practice.

(6) To create a safe, caring and welcoming setting in which parents are happy to entrust their child and where their child is encouraged and supported to flourish in an enabling and stimulating environment.

(7) To promote successful and profitable business, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery to reach maximum occupancy whilst providing excellent customer care

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

1) Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification or above
2) Strong communication skills both written and verbal
3) Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures
4) Experience of the EYFS and using it within a nursery setting
5) Enthusiastic, passionate, and full of ideas to encourage learning and development

Salary is Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
An enhanced DBS check is necessary for this role
